2008 2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 Any problems withe data loss are posted here for your information. Data in September was patched with data from Carrs weather station. Carrs' weather station is 10km NE of this weather station. 2000 Due to equipment failure after lightning and other failures some data was patched from Carr's weather station operated by John Gladman out of Albany office for the period 28 04 00 2000 hrs to 04 05 00 1200 hrs. 22 11 00 0400 hrs to 22 11 00 0900 hrs 24 11 00 0600 hrs to 24 11 00 0900 hrs 24 11 00 1900 hrs to 24 11 00 2400 hrs 25 11 00 0200 hrs to 29 11 00 0200 hrs 30 11 00 1100 hrs to 30 11 00 1600 hrs 06 12 00 1900 hrs to 11 12 00 1000 hrs 15 12 00 1500 hrs to 31 12 00 2400 hrs Carr's weather station is approximately 10km NE of the MBRS Site. Please refer to Peter Hanson for more information. 1999 After a lightning hit on 4/11/99 data to 8/11/99 was patched from Carr's weather station operated by John Gladman in Albany office The above applies for the period 29/11 1900 to 2/12 1100. All sensor data was also patched from Carr's for the periods 19/10 (1000hrs) To 22/10 (1000) 27/10 (0700) To 28/10 (1000) 23/12 (0200) To 23/12 (1700) 1998 It was found that the model 201 air temperature sensor was giving lower than real data values when the air was moist and below 15 degrees celsius. After checking for compatibility, a set of air temperature data was patched in from a weather station about 5km north of the Research Station. Air temperature data from both sites was comparable from a period of correct operation of both sites. This data was patched from 15 09 98 to 02 02 99. Prior to 15 09 98 there was no local data Care must be taken for data prior to 15 09 98 where the temperature is below 15 degrees and high humidity or rain. From 02 02 99 to 23 02 99 the data was patched from an air temperature sensor/logger sited next to the standard sensor. From 23 02 99 a new temperature sensor has performed adequately which is still monitored and compared with a second temperature logger in the screen. Other data such as RH, Soil T, Solar Radiation, Rainfall, Wind speed and Direction from the nearby weather station can be used if required for any period of missing data from the main site. Please refer to Peter Hanson for more information. 1997 Notes concerning this station for 1997 are as follows
March 21 - Logger hit by lightning. Replaced. Anemometer fused. Replaced.
March 30 - Logger hit by lightning again. Replace logger.
June 3 - Replace soil temp sensor. Had been off for some time when sensor was wet. 1996 1995 1994 1993 1992 1991 1990 1989 Station installed. Please refer to Peter Hanson for more information. Please refer to Peter Hanson for more information.
